The 49er Inn and Suites offers a convenient location in Jackson Hole, within walking distance of downtown and the town square. While some reviewers praise the comfortable beds, friendly staff, and updated amenities like the pool and hot tub, significant concerns regarding maintenance issues, poor customer service, and shuttle reliability have been raised. The property offers a decent breakfast and parking, but significant operational improvements are needed to justify the higher price point.

Comfortable, clean rooms, some of which have nice views. Quiet, and with a very spacious and updated lounge and lobby. There is an outdoor and indoor hot tub as well. The breakfast is standard american hotel, but overall this is a very nice place to stay if you're in Jackson Hole. We greatly enjoyed our stay

We stayed here for a week with our ski club. First, the good: One of the hotel owners cooked us barbecue elk and mule deer for which he'd hunted himself. This was really yummy and special. The rooms were comfortable and A/C and heat worked well. Location was great and walkable to most places in town as well as public transit stops. Daily free breakfast was sufficient in quantity, variety, and nutrition for the most part. Next, the bad: The room had many maintenance issues. These weren't resolved throughout the entire stay. I followed up on these several times. Customer service was pretty terrible. The maintenance issues persisted, as mentioned above. Housekeeping did not come on the second day, even though I asked both the front desk and the housekeeping staff directly. Once they did come, they repeatedly made frustrating mistakes. The toilet paper rolls were never put on correctly and fell off the rack every single time they were replaced. Glasses were not replaced and counters were not cleaned until specifically requested. Customer service negatives, continued: The shuttle situation to the mountain was terrible. The shuttle driver never wore a seat belt, which is illegal according to state law and is incredibly unsafe for the passengers. I asked the front desk to talk to him, and they either didn't do so (my guess) or he ignored them. Mountain shuttle timings were so poorly planned that the 9 am shuttle was jam packed every day and required signing up in the prior afternoon each day (of course, if you wanted to ski through the afternoon, you couldn't get a spot on the next morning's shuttle). The kitchen was consistently understaffed. No morning did I ask for fewer than 3 refills of breakfast items. Only one worker was ever there and he did a great job, but he was not supported sufficiently by management. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again without significant operational changes.

The beds were great. Breakfast was hot with many options (eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, and more), even if the home fries were cooked with a heated argument. The reason this gets three stars is because the air conditioner rattled aggressively when it came on. So you either didn't sleep because it was too hot or you didn't sleep because it was too noisy. Any other room, it would have got 4 or 5 stars, but given my experience, I can't do that.

Good, clean hotel with some of the "cheaper" room rates around Jackson Hole. Good options to walk downtown, and walk to food/beer. The beds are comfortable, the room was clean and the maintenance request for the room was performed day of. They were helpful with our unexpected early checkout. Overall, would visit this hotel again!

We stayed here two nights the end of July. I do have to mention, this was the most expensive lodging in my life; I think it was about $900 for two nights and it wasn't "luxury lodging." The room was clean but the bathroom was very small. The hotel is convenient to downtown Jackson. The breakfast that was included was decent and coffee was available before they opened for breakfast at 6:30am.

49er inn and suits is the perfect place to stay in Jackson Hole. It is walking distance to the main square and only a 20 minute drive from the airport. There is plenty of parking, the rooms are ample size, and breakfast is served every morning. Additionally, the hotel staff and housekeeping are especially outstanding. I left an item in the safe and realized after my departure. The front desk coordinated with housekeeping and not only found my item, but shipped it to me that same day. I am extremely grateful and will plan to stay here again when I’m back in Jackson Hole.

Lobby, pool, and food area are all recently updated. Rooms were clean, but less modern in comparison to the new updates. Indoor pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature and offered plenty of space to relax. There is a considerable smaller outdoor hot tub as well between two of the buildings. Indoors was much nicer during our visit. Some rooms offer both an indoor and outdoor (main hallway) entrance which is great for loading and unloading gear. The location is downtown, but just enough removed that it won't be too loud on a busy night. Great place to stay and the rates were very fair compared to the rest of the area.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the staff proved to be friendly and helpful. As for the room, the overall impression was that the entire property is in need of renovation: both the corridors and the rooms featured old, worn carpeting that should be replaced to give the hotel a cleaner and more modern appearance. The room itself clearly showed signs of aging: for example, the window was difficult to open. The bathroom, which was noticeably smaller compared to other hotels in the area within the same price range, also had its flaws—most notably, an extremely noisy ventilation system that could be heard even from outside the room. The towels were clean and of average quality. On a positive note, the room had a small area equipped for in-room breakfast, a convenience we hadn’t found in similar hotels. However, the beds left something to be desired: the mattresses were quite old and sagged noticeably, although the bed linens were immaculate—white, clean, and pleasantly scented. The hotel also features a private pool with a hot tub, which my travel companions used and enjoyed, and a small but functional gym equipped with a treadmill, a stationary bike, and some free weights. Overall, it was a positive experience, although not an outstanding one. The major drawback of the property was the breakfast service, which was extremely basic, offering mostly industrial products and very little fresh food. I personally only had two yogurts and an apple. Therefore, the breakfast offering definitely needs to be reconsidered.

There probably is better hotels in Jackson, but this one is very affordable and it really isn’t awful. The rooms are outdated, but clean. The pool is nice and warm and the jacuzzi jets work, not much to complain about. Defiantly worth staying at! Plus you can’t beat the location.

Unsanitary room had not been cleaned properly. Pipe burst and had to be moved to another room. All 3 of us got sick after the trip and my mom is in the hospital with an infection from the black mold in the room…your putting your life in danger by staying at this hotel to save a few dollars so I would recommend staying away!!!
