Guests consistently praise the stunning Grand Tetons views, luxurious and family-friendly townhome layouts, and exceptional horseback riding experiences. However, a significant number of recent reviews indicate serious issues with pest infestations (crickets, mice), uncomfortable furniture (broken sofa beds, lack of blankets), unreliable heating, and poor responsiveness from management during emergencies.
We stayed at Townhome 3101 and it was genuinely special. From the moment you walk in, it feels warm, quiet, and dialed-in—heated floors, a beautiful fireplace, and a layout that actually works for a family (3 bedrooms / 3.5 bathrooms, so everyone has space). Even the bedroom with the two twin beds has a breathtaking view of the Tetons—you can see the stars from the bed. We slept with the curtains open and let the morning light wake us up. My favorite part was the mornings: coffee in hand, fireplace going, watching the sunrise reflected on the Tetons from the living room. It’s the kind of calm you can’t fake—magical, and exactly what we were hoping for. My son loved it too, which says a lot. The location was perfect: about 15 minutes to the Village and about 15 minutes into town—close enough to do everything easily, but still peaceful when you’re back at the house. If you’re looking for a high-end Jackson Hole stay that feels both luxurious and comfortable (not “staged”), this is it. We’d absolutely come back.
My wife and I visited here before back in October but just for 3 days and loved it so much that we decided to celebrate our 20 year anniversary here (in February). We were worried about the Wyoming mountains winter conditions and over prepared (winter tires put on the truck and bought tire chains) but never needed any of that. The road leading up to the property was very well maintained with no scary spots and had guard rails. The room was clean and well equipped as it was last time. In fact, we requested our same 2 bedroom suite as last time due to the convenience and view and they made sure we had it. We dealt with 4 representatives; Eric, Keith, a blonde hair/colored eye woman with a strong European accent and another woman with black hair/brown eyes of a Latin decent and accent. All were excellent and very friendly. Of those, Keith accomodated for us the most as he assisted us in showing us where we could have our vow renewal ceremony on site in a beautiful area with a stunning view for photos. He touched base with us about it and was there when we had the (Norse Pagan/Christian style) ceremony....and all went perfectly. The property will have wild life roaming around and getting very close to you if your demeanor is right! Just before our ceremony when we were dressed, a few (7 or 8) deer showed up at our back deck just a few feet from us....a sign of blessing from the Aesir gods, once again. The time we visited for a full week (Feb 1 - Feb 7), there were hardly any others there to bother our stay and the ones who were there were as quiet and harmless as a church mouse. Their lobby had coffee, apples and fresh made cookies (not packaged from Nabisco or anything) as well as a lit fireplace and decently equipped store with various clothing, alcohol, decorations (candles/nightlights etc) and jewelry related to the area. The only discrepancy we had was with the spotty and unreliable wifi which wasn't a huge deal since there was so much more to enjoy at a resort like this with such a location of views. It's a great location to have a very peaceful stay in Jackson that's only a couple miles to the town, a short drive to the beautiful Teton Village and not too far from Jenny Lake. We'll be staying here again in the future as we love Jackson WY more than any other vacation spot we've been to to date (including our Hawaii vacay!). Thanks, Keith, for helping us with our 20 year anniversary event!
I cannot even express the gratitude I have for finding this place. Visited from Texas to avoid some harsh weather our city isn't used to and we couldn't have picked a better place. The staff are super accommodating and quick to help, offering plenty of recommendations around the city. Jackson Hole is just a stones throw away if you want to get some gifts and see some finer art. Room was spotless and had everything you would ever need for your cooking and coffee needs. Plenty of wood to get you started as well. I accidentally left my phone in the room at checkout (before the office opened) and had to leave for my flight. Once I called and let them know, I had a tracking number almost immediately for my mishap. I truly appreciate everyone here and would definitely stay here 10 times over.
Always loved coming here. Came across this comment made by the executive chef on Facebook. It was an article posted about Driggs Idaho residents holding a candlelight vigil for Megan Good, the woman shot in MN. Feel how you like politically about the situation but celebrating anyone’s death is gross. Maybe people shouldn’t post inflammatory comments on public forums next to their name, picture, and employer.
100% will never stay here again. Pros: 1. Staff was friendly and accommodating during the stay, most notably opening up a room for us so our children could have their own room. 2. Location is close to Jackson. Cons: 1. Price is high compared to similar options and they do NOT offer any type of government rate. Expedia offers 10% off for military but they did not offer it booking direct. 2. Same plain breakfast every single day. 3. Rooms had crickets everywhere inside. Bathroom, kitchen, and literally IN the bed sheets (before even using the bed the first time). 4. Bathrooms were disgusting. Most notably, EVERY bathroom that our large party stayed at (over 7 different lodge rooms) had BLACK MOLD. It was ALL over over bathrooms. Even worse, some of the showers had silicone/caulking put right over the black mold trying to hide it. Disgusting and completely unsanitary, especially with children. To pay $525 a night with all of the above considerations, I will never again stay here. Extremely disappointed. Would consider giving it 3 to 4 stars had the price been much less to reflect above.
My family had the best time horseback riding at Spring Creek Ranch! Our guide, Tiffany, couldn't have been nicer. She made us all feel so comfortable on our horses, had great info to share during the trail ride, and took time getting to know us. I couldn't recommend this ranch enough if you are looking to horseback ride. The views are beautiful and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Jackson Hole!
We booked the 1 hour horse trail ride. The 360 views of the mountains and tranquil scenery was spectacular and breathtaking. The horses followed along well. The wrangler was so sweet to stop, get off his horse and check on each one of us. This was the best horseback riding experience ever!!! 10/10!!
We recently stayed here and one of the studio cabins, and had an incredible experience! The cabins have an authentic, classic western aesthetic which is exactly what we were looking for. The views were insane. In the mornings, you see the pink skies peeking over the mountain tops , and from what I understand, every cabin has an incredible view. The beds are comfortable, and although there is no cooling ac (only heated) we have no issues with the room temperature and we were very comfortable during our stay. The grounds are just stunning. We also did the 2 hour horseback ride through the mountains and it was definitely worth it. We had a wonderful time and will be back again.
We arrived late as our flights were delayed. The property is easy to find but the units are very hard to find at night and the lighting is poor. The customer service was terrible. We had no water in the shower and it took two calls and two hours to get them to the unit. The location is great. Beautiful balcony setting where we saw the Grand Tetons each morning. Now the Head of Housekeeping and I failed to get her name was the kindest and most prompt person we encountered. If I knew her name I would mail her a happy. Beware there is NO AC in the unit. Miserable. Left the key on the room as was told to do as we checked out before they opened. An hour later they hit my credit card with a $400 charge. I called and they said $200 was for the Murphy bed and $200 was resort fees. I arrived thinking all was paid in advance. Read the fine print. I wouldn’t recommend this property for older folks or kids as the stairs in all units are very steep.
The views are absolutely stunning! However the blinds don’t work and we had an extra guest , mice, that ate our food that was left on the counter. On top of that they tried to change me an additional 80.00 booking fee on my credit card. When asked to speak with a manager he wasn’t even in at 8:30 in the morning. The Front desk was able to waive the fee but did nothing else. I don’t recommend staying here in the future, we will not be back.
