Hotel location is a little outside of town. Not exactly walking distances to restaurants or shops. Services is lackluster. I checked in around 2:15 and it took approximately 45 minutes to finally get my keys. There were no less than 3 or 4 in the back office that could have easily checked in the long line of people, and it was ubtil I asked another hotel employee for help did they finally scurry out of the back office. Rooms are average. My room was a little dirty and weird stains on the furniture. The remodel must've been about 4 or so years ago. The decorations and fixutres are well designed. Depending on the room, the views are great! Think of it as like a Courtyard Inn - not great but not bad. I would recommend Cloudveil. Much nicer hotel, way better service and close to town.

This place is beautiful and everyone is kind and thoughtful. Booked a snowboard lesson with Cole Mehra and dudes an absolute blast. Learned so much from him and became confident to hop on a board for the first time. 10/10 would recommend asking for him if you’re seeking lessons at the snow king resort.

I've stayed at Snow King Resort Hotel in all four seasons, most recently last week when my dad and I stayed in a double queen room with my new puppy. I LOVE that Snow King doesn't have weight limits for dogs (we have large breeds like Leonbergers and Bernese Mountain dogs), and it's surrounded by greenery making it easy to exercise and potty a puppy. Of course, you can't beat the location, right next to the mountain; yet, it's still within walking distance of downtown. Even though the hotel is currently undergoing a remodel, we still had a great time and can't wait to visit after the rebrand!

The hotel itself is fine! Rooms are decent and location is great! The skiing was awesome! We had a great time and a wonderful lesson with Vicente! The only negative we had here was with the front desk people. Every person we encountered was very dismissive and not friendly or helpful at all. The worst of all was ANTHONY. He was not nice and was very dismissive to us during every interaction. I hope he is doing okay because he seemed very miserable. Overall was a good time! I hope they can replace the front desk staff or at least teach them to be reasonably nice to people. All the other staff were great!!

We wanted a special stop for the kids on vaca and thought stopping in Jackson Hole would be fun. It was towards the end of ski season. The town was slower, it was nice to visit, but the resort itself kind of let us down. It was outdated. The heated pool was closed the entire time we were there. When asking front desk where some good local spots to visit would be, we were met with "good luck". We ventured out, had some fun, but not sure we'd ever stay again.

Less than one (1) star. First bad experience like this here. Bought ski lift tickets and three days worth of rental for three of my kids to only find out that only one green was open due to a ski race. Found that out after all was paid for and was up on mountain and was told would need to take a more experienced slope down or wait for an ok to utilize the ski lift back down. One worker even stated that my little niece can do it. Well long story short, the rental place did give two other day funds back but the resort said sorry no refunds but failed to let us know about only one green slope open. Gave a credit but they won as will never return with our business. They should have stated before taking our money that only one slope was open. This review would not have happened if they would have been upfront.

My family and I stayed here for 5 days. We stayed at the CONDOTEL section of the resort. So please be aware that there is the HOTEL section and then there is the CONDOTEL section. They are NOT in the same buildings. All the amenities are connected to the hotel. We stayed at the Grandview building and it would be quite a walk in the snow blizzard and iced roads to reach the gym, hot tub, and pool. There is NO service for the room. No cleaning. No room service. Nothing. The good thing is we got a nice covered parking garage with decent height to fit our SUV with the roof luggage intact. Room was very spacious. Full kitchen. Detergents, soaps, dishwasher, laundry are all readily available. The room was CLEAN. I mean really clean when we checked in. There is a nice outdoor balcony area. So again, the location is advertised as “next to the ski lift”. NO IT IS NOT. The hotel building would be next to the ski lift. But the CONDOTEL section is definitely not. The resort is nearby to the town square which is a great plus for us. Jackson town square is so cozy and beautiful. We would probably look for another place to stay in town if we were to return to the area in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Snow King Resort for our anniversary and unfortunately left very disappointed by the lack of service and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the staff didn’t want to give us the time of day. During our three-night stay, no one offered to help with our luggage, we were never greeted when coming or going, and no one ever checked in to see if we needed anything. Additionally, the hotel smelled musty in several of the hallways, we assume because it's a ski resort and from all the snow tracked in, but it was more thing that added to the disappointment of our stay. One particularly frustrating moment was when we walked to the hot tub in our robes on a chilly 30-degree evening. We passed right by the front desk, and although the receptionist saw us, she didn't think to mention that the hot tub was closed. Small moments like that really added up, we just never felt cared for as guests. We also had an uncomfortable experience when my husband went to check out the gym and a staff member (a male shuttle driver) abruptly asked, “What’re you doing?” in a way that came off rude and accusatory. My husband is Hispanic, and the tone made the interaction feel racially charged, which was upsetting and uncalled for. The resort was very quiet since it was shoulder season, so there’s really no excuse that they were too busy. For what we paid and the reputation of the property, we expected a much warmer and professional experience. The only acknowledgment of our anniversary was a comped round of iced teas at the bar. It was a nice gesture, but hardly enough to make up for the lack of hospitality elsewhere. Overall, the setting is beautiful but service matters just as much as scenery. We truly wanted to love our stay, but sadly, we won’t be returning.

DISCLAIMER - Most of this review concerns the Hayden’s Post located within the lodging: On the hotel’s webpage, it advertised “Stay 3 Nights and Breakfast is Free. Seeing so, we (2 people) decided to enjoy the COMPLIMENTARY breakfast buffet at Hayden’s Post because we were staying 3 nights. When we showed up to the buffet, there was no host, so we started approaching the dining room to find a table. At that point, we were approached by a waitress, who told us to go grab food and then sit wherever we wanted. As we finished our meals, the same waitress returned and told us she will go grab the check. I was surprised to hear there was a bill because we were assuming the breakfast was COMPLIMENTARY as advertised and was a part of our stay. I explained to her that on the website, this breakfast was advertised as complimentary and that we were staying 3 nights, making us eligible for this promotion. She asked me for voucher cards, which I never received when we checked in. When I went to speak to the check-in receptionist, she told me that the promotion is INELIGIBLE for Expedia bookings and that only direct-bookings are eligible. Their website advertising this promotion did NOT explicitly state this exclusion. Another receptionist standing by was laughing me while this transaction took place, obviously knowing I have been scammed and that this scam occurs often with other guests. After this, we ended up having to pay the bill, which was $24 PER PERSON for the breakfast buffet AND they AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED 20% gratuity without saying anything to us!! The food was CONTINENTAL breakfast quality that WE SERVED OURSELVES. It was most definitely NOT a meal/dining experience that warranted the price NOR the automatic gratuity. As we were leaving, we saw/heard the same waitress inform a new patron that the breakfast buffet is $24/person when she did not say a single thing about this to us before we sat down. Overall, our stay was good and we enjoyed the lodging space/location, but the restaurant is a SCAM and the actions of the employees are rude and unacceptable!

Service at the front desk was top notch! The check-in process was so fast and easy along with friendly staff! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. As far as rooms go, they were very clean, modern, and welcoming. Even the coffee in the rooms was decent! Highly recommend!
