The Golden Eagle Inn offers affordable and clean accommodations in Jackson, Wyoming, proving to be a valuable choice for budget-conscious travelers. Guests consistently praise its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, with several highlighting exceptional service and helpful local recommendations.
The Golden Eagle Inn is a hidden gem in Jackson. I chose to stay here because it was one of the most affordable options available, and I was initially concerned that the lower price might mean sacrificing quality. Fortunately for us, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I wouldn’t consider this a luxury five-star resort like some of the higher-end properties in the area, it offers excellent value and everything needed for an enjoyable stay. If you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Jackson without compromising on cleanliness or service, I would highly recommend the Golden Eagle Inn.
The Golden Eagle Inn was the perfect place to accommodate our short stay in Jackson Hole. It was walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants and provided a clean and comfortable stay. The front desk hostess was a gem and we enjoyed her so much. We highly recommend the Golden Eagle Inn!
The hotel was clean, comfy, and conveniently located. More importantly, Dina who works there is an angel! I accidently left a bag of newly purchased items on the curb while packing up the car and drove home 10 hours away. I've left many things behind in hotel rooms and never get them back...always told the housekeeper didn't turn anything in. I decided to give it a try anyway, hopeful. Spoke to Dina at the motel and she had the bag! She is sending it to me via UPS. Amazing service and honesty. Restored some faith in humanity.
We highly recommend the Golden Eagle. It might not be a five star luxury hotel but really why would you need one. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. You can walk to downtown. The owners are great. They held my husband’s phone for us until we could pick it up. We had to have it shipped there( forgot it at home) and even though we had left , they called and let us know it showed up. Great rooms, great owners ! Why stay anywhere else. They are our place when we visit the Tetons. You will not be disappointed!
The hotel was great! We appreciated the attentive staff, easy parking and nice room. The location was great and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment, etc. The only ‘negative’ thing I’ll say is that the AC unit was a bit nosy and there was some trash left under our bed.
Excellent accommodation following a visit to the parks. We had a three-night stay without encountering any issues. The establishment is managed by courteous individuals, and I intend to return upon my next visit. The location is conveniently situated near numerous restaurants and gift shops.
This was a nice place for our family to spend a night in Jackson Hole without breaking the bank. Dinah was very nice and gave good recommendations for breakfast and dinner. She also helped resolve an AC issue right away. If you are looking for a "budget" option in Jackson Hole, we would highly recommend Golden Eagle Inn.
We loved our stay at Golden Eagle. It was clean, quiet, and close to everything. The staff were very friendly. I liked being able to open the back window for fresh air. The inside has been recently updated. It's spacious and has a lot more room for suitcases and your other stuff than most places. The price is also much more reasonable than most. We will definitely be back!
Great location and a great price. In fact, the price was so good, compared to others in Jackson, that I was surprised to see how nice the place is. Our room had recently been completely remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have windows that open to enjoy the cool air at night. I'm a Marriot Rewards member, so I called the Springfield Suites first. They wanted three times as much for a room, and offered no refunds. Dinah at Golden Eagle was far more accomodating. We were a block or two from late-night noise, but close enough to walk to shopping, brewpubs, restaurants ... whatever we wanted was just a few blocks away.
1970’s era type motel. Run down, but clean. Window AC mounted in bathroom wall a bit noisy but cooled the room. Bed was too soft. Pricey at $333/night for such an old facility. And no breakfast included. McDonald’s about 10 miles down the strip. Walking distance to the square area where there is lots of shopping and restaurants.
