Signal Mountain Lodge consistently receives high praise for its stunning location overlooking Jackson Lake and the Grand Tetons, coupled with friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the convenient amenities like restaurants, boat rentals, and the beautiful natural surroundings, making it a popular base for exploring the area. While some rooms may require updates, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
This is clearly the very best place to stay in GTNP! They have very nice accommodations in any of their cabins, a great restaurant and nice gift shop! It is the perfect location; quiet and peaceful, but quick and easy to get into Jackson city or airport! Perfect place to stay, PERFECT!
We stopped here for breakfast and coffee while enroute to Grand Teton National Park. Inside the main lodge facility, you will find a good-sized gift shop, restrooms, the Trapper Grill, the lodge dining & lounge, and the Timbers Barista. There is a large, oversized parking lot and at the north end, gas station with convenience store. Towards the back of the lodge, you will find the marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak to enjoy Jackson Lake.
We had a great experience here. It was a great place to base our adventures out of and at the end of the day, to relax and enjoy a glass of wine watching the lake, mountains, enviorment, change moment by moment as the sun set. Its a beautiful place, and we will definately be going back!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The location on the lake over seeing the Tetons is absolutely beautiful. The staff were happy and helpful. Our room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave which we appreciated. There is a restaurant, grocery store and gas station on site. It was so convenient. I will recommend coming here to my family and friends.
We stayed in a lakefront retreat and absolutely loved the sunset views over Lake Jackson and the Tetons. The lodge staff were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the extra space in the room and the deck area - it made the experience feel even more relaxing and special after a day of adventuring in the Tetons.
I recently had an incredible experience at Signal Mountain Lodge, thanks in large part to Damian, the fishing guide. His knowledge of the local waters and fishing techniques is truly remarkable, and his ability to form a friendly relationship so quickly made the trip feel like I was fishing with a longtime friend. The entire staff was fantastic, from the front desk to the restaurant. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making the process of getting our fishing licenses quick and easy. We also enjoyed a solid, delicious lunch at the restaurant, which was the perfect break from a long day on the lake. Fishing on Jackson Lake with the Grand Tetons as a backdrop is an experience that can't be beaten. Seeing those incredible views while catching lake trout all day long was absolutely breathtaking. It was a perfect day, and I can't wait to go back.
We had a wonderful stay at the Signal Mountain Lodge. We took our son, and had a lake front view room which was simply stunning. The porch had the best view I've ever had. The three restaurants are wonderful, and have the best food in the area. Each morning we loved the homemade muffins and pastries, which made us feel truly at home. Boat rentals were easy and fantastic - probably the best part of our trip was boating around Lake Jackson. We cant wait to return.
The hotel was beautifully located inside the park with a stunning sunrise view of the Grand Tetons across Jackson Lake. The room was pleasant with a nicely updated bathroom. We enjoyed exceptional customer service when we called the front desk after checking out. We’d forgotten a personal item, and front desk personnel immediately responded by sending housekeeping to the room to retrieve it. Once retrieved, the front desk staff person called me back to let me know she’d hold it until we returned to the hotel. Many, many thanks for the care and concern! The food at the restaurant was also very good, and service there was also excellent.
? At night it will allow you to sleep, at Day awaken your senses! No need to worry about cell signals at Signal Mountain Lodge since the location and views alone will keep you beyond occupied. The accommodations are very sufficient for the average persons' needs and grounds offer a lot of entertainment in there own. Don't sleep in or you will miss the sunrise! ????
Our room was in dire need of updating. Furniture was old & beat up, not rustic, just seemingly 30+ years old. Aura of a 1950’s motel. Many cabins were recently rebuilt, ours was not. That said, the restaurant is amazing! Reviewed in the separate section below.
