The Amangani offers a stunning, secluded location in Jackson Hole with impressive rooms, scenic views, and a variety of amenities like ski shuttles and a lounge. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in service, particularly with dining and excursions, as well as unexpectedly high prices for added services.

The resort is absolutely beautiful—secluded yet convenient, with plenty to do whether skiing or relaxing. The ski shuttle, ski lounge (special thanks to Andrew!), hot chocolate bar, live music, and family-friendly vibe made our stay memorable. Unfortunately, the dining experience was frustrating. We were told the restaurant was fully booked for NYE, only to find it nearly empty all night. Excursions booked through the hotel were also disappointing, with no support from management when issues arose. Overall, the resort itself is stunning, but I would avoid booking excursions through the hotel and manage dining expectations in advance.

No 10 stars option? By far the most unforgettable vacays I had in the US! The resort is outstanding, the service was impeccable!!! All 3 excursions were unforgettable!! I can’t thank them all enough!!! Truly a HIDDEN GEM!! Yes, expensive, but if you can afford a room for 1,500$ a night then you should be able to pay a high buck for everything else. The whole stuff is sooooo welcoming and accommodating! I’m in love with Aman forever now! Big thank you! ?

The hotel was beautiful and convenient location. We loved the pool and the views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge at the ski resort was a huge plus! We will definitely stay here again.

My honest review on this resort. Pros: the resort is absolutely stunning and conveniently located in a secluded but convenient part of the town. Whether you like to ski or just want to relax you have so many options when staying here. The resort does offer a ski shuttle (which you can use to go to the village) all through the day for departure and return. They also have a ski lounge which was nice (Andrew who worked in the lounge was the best.) This resort was very family friendly. We enjoyed the hot chocolate bar, the IV drip that was offered on January 1st and the live music. Cons: Upon arriving we were told the only restaurant located in the resort was completely booked for the 31st. We were able to get a reservation a lot earlier than we intended for NYE. Upon arriving to the reservation we noticed the restaurant was completely empty, surprising as we were told it was “completely booked.” We were very upset as we had just arrived and had to rush getting ready on New Year’s eve to make the “only” reservation available. Again throughout the night the restaurant was almost empty. We booked several excursions through the resort one ending in a very unpleasant experience. We were departing that day and had been told to resolve the issue with the resort. We tried speaking with the resort manager and were offered 0 assistance in the matter. I would not book excursions with the hotel as they do not respond if something does wrong.

My girlfriends and I did a long weekend in Jackson Hole and stayed at the Amangani. The property was beautiful, including the expansive rooms, view of the mountains and the spa. We had trouble early on getting staff on the phone to discuss arrangements and getting calls back, which we were not too fussed over but we were expecting better service from such a luxury resort, particularly in light of the cost. Most shocking, however, were the insanely steep prices the hotel put on everything. We took the hotel car to town, getting dropped off and picked up. We assumed this was just a hotel perk and were hit with a $124 bill. We did an excursion and the three of us took the picnic option where we all ordered a breakfast burrito. Those burritos ended up costing us almost $40 each which is insane. Breakfast consisted of two juices, two smoothies, a water and coffee at the price tag of $129. We thought the money gouging was extreme in light of the heavy per night price tag. We would recommend going somewhere else, where your dollars are better put to work.

It could be that this place was so hyped up that made me disappointed, either way for the price point it was lacking. Pros - location, close enough to town but secluded enough you still feel like you’re in the wilderness. Size of the rooms, our room, which was the basic suite was large, with enough room for a baby. The front desk person, Red, he brought me milk at 4am when my baby was crying and that was much appreciated and was super kind about it. All of the drivers were super friendly and helpful. Cons - the service at the restaurant is unbearably slow, like the slowest service I have ever had anywhere, the drinks would arrive after the meal was finished. For cocktails in the lounge area be prepared to wait an hour. The pricing is so ominous and deceptive, not sure if this is intentional. For example, you just walk out of the restaurant without signing a check or making sure your bill was correct. Our folio had two massages added ( we never got massages) and if I didn’t really look at the detail would have been charged for something I never received. Another small but annoying example, there was a laundry basket, not bag, a basket in the room, I used it to separate the dirty clothes for packing later and there wasn’t any signage or communication that it would be taken for dry cleaning, it was and I was charged. Also with the car service, had no idea it was an extra charge. The rooms were hot at night and the thermostat didn’t really seem to change the temp.

Amangani restaurant was really nice! We enjoyed the fondue and the mushroom as appetizers, then. I split the chicken breast and veal which tasted and looked like schnitzel. It was all absolutely delicious and nothing was left unfinished! There was an extensive wine and liquor menu as well with some local beers and delicious cocktails. It certainly wasn't inexpensive but would absolutely recommend if you're staying on the Butte!
