The Alpine Motel offers a clean and comfortable stay with convenient access to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. While some amenities are dated, guests appreciate the affordability and friendly staff. However, WiFi connectivity and shower pressure remain concerns for some visitors.
Very basic, but really clean, decent size room in a quiet but convenient neighborhood. Minifridge, microwave and AC in room. Very comfortable bed.
Room was nicer than I expected for a motel. We had two queens with a table and two chairs, a microwave, a fridge, an ironing board and AC/heat. There was also an ice machine which was great for coolers when going into the national park. The location is in town but not in the middle of everything so it was very quiet. Still a short walk into the town square which was nice. However we had to check-in at another hotel which was a little annoying and the WiFi never worked which sucked because the service in the town is LTE only.
A reasonable room at a better price than most of Jackson. We would probably come back to this motel Pros: + Large, reasonably clean rooms + Comfortable beds + Plenty of parking + Helpful staff for quick check in and out + 10 minute walk to the center of Jackson + Good amount of amenities + Better price than most places to stay in Jackson + Warm rooms + Motel was quiet at night Cons - WiFi is very weak in the rooms; to the point it was less frustrating to turn it off and use data - Shower pressure was quite weak, and it was difficult to get it to a bearable temperature - Showers sprayed a lot of water on the floor, making it slippery. Even with the shower mat on the floor and the shower curtain drawn - Toilets required holding down the flush for 5 seconds to avoid waste coming back up - Dated decor - Still quite expensive for what it is
The Alpine Motel is somewhat rustic, but clean and generally in good condition. Probably built early '60s, though revovated over the years. Our room had microwave, refrigerator, and flat screen TV, but no USB charger ports. Overall, a good value for Jackson.
Located just outside Yellowstone's west entrance, this was the perfect place to stay for our visit to the park. The room was spotless and comfortable. The owners/ operators are very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to walk the town of West Yellowstone. Couldn't have been more pleased that we decided to stay there!
The Alpine Motel is an excellent value in Jackson at under $300/night. It looks a little dated, but it was clean and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and a minifridge. Parking is right out front. And the location is fantasic - less than a 5 minute walk to the town square, shops, restaurants, etc. but far enough away to be quiet. I'd definitely stay there again.
It is a great hotel. But, the price was very expensive. 300 dollars per night! The rooms were clean and spacious. Had a full kitchen with pots, pans and silverware. Microwave and fridge are included. Overall, a good hotel, but, the price could be more reasonable.
