Wonderful stay at Elk Refugee Inn. We had a large second floor room that had an expansive high ceiling, balcony and well equipped kitchen. The room felt extremely comfortable, and we had an excellent sleep. So many nice touches, including free daily newspaper, free laundry, excellent selection of teas and coffee. We would definitely stay again.

Really impressed with Elk Refuge Inn, I’ve been to countless hotels and this was a big standout. You won’t find a better mix of value/quality in Jackson, not to mention clean with all needed amenities like a kitchenette and laundry. It’s close enough to town for convenience yet enough away so it’s nice and quiet with great views. Highly recommend!

The Elk Refuge Inn was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay! The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bed was especially comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and the laundry room was very convenient and easy to use. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect. It was only about 10 minutes to town and the Elk Refuge, and around 20 minutes to Grand Teton National Park. The whole place was also very quiet and peaceful. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

This place is so awesome! The rooms are very clean, amenities are great and the beds are very comfortable. The view is unbelievable and sits just outside Jackson, very close to the city center but feels removed. You can see elk and all kinds of wildlife from your bedroom window or porch. The price was WELL worth it and the vibe was just what we were hoping for. Patti at the front desk gave us so many valuable tips and advice, we totally changed our plans based on what she told us. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

This place offers a nice stay at an excellent value. Very accommodating owners (She allowed me tp do some laundry after hours which saved me from buying a clean shirt to fly home in). Id definitely stay here again!

Wonderful views. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Helpful staff. If you're passing through Jackson and plan to stop, please stop here you won't be disappointed. Located just out of Jackson opposite the Elk refuge. I'll be back for sure.

I wanted to love it. I did love it, until…. We were so thrilled with the room, the view, porch, size, amenities, and location. It looked like it was going to be our best stay yet on our Yellowstone tour. Just as we got settled in for the night, mice started showing up. We notified management immediately. They came and set traps, but that was the only resolution offered. They mentioned a sign on their door that asks guests to make sure room doors stay closed due to wild life (mice are rodents, not wild life). We never had our doors open. We got up and left out early due to being tired of playing exterminator all night for them. I left an item behind as we were quickly loading our items and kids. They offered to mail it back for $20. It definitely put a damper on our stay as I’m terrified of mice.

This excellent inn located just north of downtown Jackson, was absolutely a delight to stay during our visit. With direct and ease access to US Highway 191, this was the perfect choice each morning to visit Grand Teton National Park. The room was big enough to accommodate two queen beds, it was cozy, clean, and with a small deck in front of the room with table and chairs. But best of all, individual parking spaces for each room, just feet from the front door. The inn also had a free washer/dryer room, which we used. We stayed here at the end of September, and the room prices are still very high, but that is to be expected at such a popular tourist location. The check-in/out process was a breeze, but what made this stay simply the best was the staff member who took care of us and recommend the best authentic Mexican restaurant have been to in a long time. So, we would like to offer our sincere gratitude to Brenda H., who was a delight to meet and thank her for making our stay memorable. Fantastic service, thank you.

I was very glad to find this place - convenient to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Friendly, informative office. I felt welcomed and accommodated. This is a great room, it almost feels like an Airbnb with how personally it is stocked. The heaters worked great and I just felt very at home. One of the better places we stayed on our trip and I would recommend it to anyone. Will stay here next time we are in the area - for sure.

Such a wonderful find! I went in the off season, so shockingly affordable, and wonderful rooms. Really amazing nice service, and the room had such a great feel to them. More than expected, including a little dish cleaning sink and kit and nice warm drink choices. And the view was absolutelu as advertised! Lovely view upon stepping out in the morning. The only thing I would have liked is full curtains, not just blinds as it was wuite bright in the morning (and sorta bright at night from the sign). Can hear cars passing easily, not bad at all, but just a general note so just bring a sleep mask and earbuds for sleep if you need them!
